Well worth a visit here, either as a planned visit or just as a stop off for a drink and a bite to eat. There`s something here for all ages, & we were able to have a lovely lunch while our 2 teenage boys went & played golf on the pitch & putt course. The owners are lovely friendly people & made us feel very welcome....and the tea and food was fantastic too....we`ll definitely return! Thank you very much & all the very best for the future.

Saw their new Facebook page so thought we'd have a look today to see if there'd been any improvement since last year (if only to reassure ourselves it hadn't disappeared completely into the undergrowth that used to be the pitch & putt!). It looked really welcoming as soon as we approached, with bunting & lots of seating outside. Water bowls for dogs, sunshades at some of the outside tables, the greens properly mowed - what a difference a year makes! After our round of putting (the result of which I'll gloss over.....hmmm), we ventured into the cafe - how bright it is now with different types of seating & a play area for children. My 3 cheese ploughman's lunch was really tasty and the rest of the menu looks inviting too so will have to go back to work my way through it. Service with a smile seems to be the norm here so well done to this family for taking this sad place by the scruff of the neck & doing something positive with it. Just need to get proper Browns doughnuts back, the fountains running again & my life will be complete!
